How to care for your furniture, cutting boards and charcuterie platters

Buff lightly with a Scotch-Brite pad to remove any marks or scruffs.

Wipe with a damp cotton cloth to clean off any debris.
3 Apply oil
For cutting boards and platters
Apply a heavy coat of mineral oil and continue to do so until it is supersaturated (cannot absorb any more). Repeat when you find that food items are starting to stick to the wood again.
For furniture
Apply a thin, even coat of mineral wax beeswax emulsion (“MOBE”), wait 10 minutes, then buff vigorously with a cotton cloth.
